Axle Pin
Do you ever have to bang the split pin(cotter pin) back in the rear axle bolt with a hammer or its my bike?
I am using the right pins imported from Japan even. Maybe i will get smaller ones from a car part retail place. Also the axel bolts is in the right place. I think its just my bike is not made that well. Have you ever had this problem?
Never seen one that had to be "Banged" in, but I've worked on plenty that you may have to just lightly tap the cotter pin through. Make sure the axle is all the way through the swingarm and that the axle nut is tightened to proper specs and the castle portion is lined up with the hole in the axle for the pin to go through.
