When a catalog lists that a necklace is 20"L, is that the total length, how far it hangs down?
This is how the description of the chain is worded:
Silver-tone chain with lobster-claw clasp
Approximately 20" long
I cut & tied a 21" string, but hung around my neck,
it does not hang down nearly as far as in the catalog picture.
(And this would be for a petite/short person, so it can't be too long.)
In the catalog picture, the necklace is hanging on a manikin.
Yep, it's the length of the whole chain. The person in the catalogue is probably TINY though...
